Never Pay Retail for Herbs and Vitamins Again!
Back in 1987 we at Nature's Sunshine Products (NSP) couldn't get chickweed. Many of us called the company and asked why we couldn't get it. We were told that chickweed was grown and harvested in Russia and the shipment that came in was loaded with radiation from the Chernobyl incident. It had been rejected before it could be unloaded at the NSP docks. That didn't mean the chickweed wasn't sold, although. It was sold to suppliers of herbs that didn't have the quality control that NSP had resulting in it being placed on the shelves in many herb stores and eventually purchased by the general public.
When I joined Nature's Sunshine in 1984 I had researched many different companies at that time. Nature's Sunshine products were by far the safest because of their purity and NSP's quality control methods. Not only that, but the people that chose the herbs knew what they were looking for. They were well-educated in botany and understood that some herbal species had more healing ability than other herbs in the same species.
Later, NSP did random testing on herbs that came from random store shelves. One such test was on an herb called Pau D'Arco which is used by people who have cancer. When the test product was run through NSP's quality control testing, it was discovered that it wasn't even Pau D'Arco, it was cocoa, which looks like Pau D'Arco. The quality control people called the company responsible for this mistake and asked if they were aware that the product was cocoa and not Pau D'Arco. The company's reply was, "Oops!" Since the products were not then and are to this day not regulated, nothing was done to correct the mistake.
This is one of the reasons I have always stayed with NSP. Not only that, but NSP has over 400 products. It is like having my own herb store with anything I want right there for the asking. All I have to do is pick up the phone and it is there the next day. I live in Ohio, and Ohio was the first State to have it's own NSP warehouse. Anytime I order anything before noon, it is at my door the next day.
NSP customer service is excellent. Your call is answered by real live people who care about what you have to say and strive to give you the best service possible. If something we use is ever taken off the shelves, they listen to why it should be put back on the shelves and then take action to make sure you can still get it. This has happened many times over the years and our satisfaction is guaranteed. I absolutely love this company!
The motto of NSP has always been "People Helping People". Many people have gotten well using these herbs and the cost is minimal compared to many products out there.
